BIRMINGHAM - AL -

The man who found boxes of personal information on the floors of the vacant Banks High and Middle School was in city council chambers, Tuesday.

Brad Hobbs says he worries that more personal information could be in other, vacant school buildings.

He urged the city to use police officers or Public Works employees to check out these buildings to try to avoid any future problems with the leaking of personal information.

"Banks is cleared up," he said. "But, a larger question looms. If that was the situation at Banks, what is the situation at other school properties that have been closed across the city?"

Councilwoman Kim Rafferty said she has already talked with the city to make sure other buildings are checked.
