BIRMINGHAM - AL -

Have you ever wanted to go 125 mph with 185 horsepower revving underneath you?

It's what ABC 33/40 reporter, Bryant Somerville, did Thursday.

AMA Pro Superbike Racing will be at the Barber Motorsports Park this weekend, with the Triumph Motorbike Classic capping off the events, Sunday.

As a way to provide more general interest in the sport, GEICO Honda allowed local television talent the opportunity to see what it's all about.

AMA Pro Superbike racer Chris Ulrich allowed Somerville to saddle up on the back of his Honda CBR1000RR for a few thrilling laps around the track, reaching speeds of up to 125 mph along the way.

Four racing events are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at the park. Tickets range in price from $15 to $35 for general admission while children ages 15 and under get in free. To purchase tickets, click here.
