Devonta Pollard is no longer part of the Crimson Tide basketball program, according to a CBSSports.com report.

The sophomore forward was charged with conspiracy to commit kidnapping earlier this month.

Pollard was one of seven people listed on a grand jury report in the kidnapping case of a 6-year-old girl outside of an elementary school in April.

Pollard's mother was the original suspect in the case.

The CBSSports report said that Pollard had planned to enroll at a junior college following his mothers arrest, but now there's no guarantee he'll play basketball at all next season.

Pollard averaged 3.9 points and 3.1 in one season at Alabama.
