NASCAR driver Mike Harmon has turned himself in to authorities and will face charges of breaking and entering and larceny in North Carolina.

The nationwide series competitor was born in Birmingport, AL.

Authorities in Rowan County (NC) suspect that Harmon and his business partner stole at least seven vehicles from NASCAR truck racer Jennifer Jo Cobb last year. Harmon is a former team manager of Cobb's Nationwide racing team.

Investigators conducted a search of Harmon's shop in Mooresville last month, as well as a storage shed. It turned up enough evidence for authorities to charge the NASCAR driver with crimes.
