The Hale County's Sheriff's Office has arrested an Akron man accused of shooting a man then killing his wife.

District Attorney Michael Jackson tells ABC 33/40 that 53-year-old Charles Miles allegedly shot and killed his wife, Denise Miles, and her supposed boyfriend, Cliff Davis, Tuesday afternoon. Jackson says the couple has been separated before the shootings.

We're told the shooting happened in the driveway of a home near Highway 14.  Jackson says Davis and Miles were in his car backing out headed to a high school graduation when witnesses say Charles Miles opened fire...hitting Davis.  Jackson says when Miles' estranged wife exited the car and tried to run Davis fatally shot her.

At last check, Cliff Davis was still at DCH hospital in Tuscaloosa.  However his condition is unknown.

Charles Miles is being held in the Hale County Jail charged with Capital Murder and Attempted Murder.
