According to the Auburn Police Department, two Vestavia Hills men were arrested Tuesday on robbery and drug trafficking charges.

Bradford Alan Blount, 22, and Dennis Elder, 22, have been charged with first-degree robbery and trafficking of a controlled substance. Both men are currently being held in the Lee County Detention Center on $150,000 bonds.

The Auburn Police Division responded to a robbery call in the 600 block of DeKalb Street in Auburn where a male victim reported that he had been robbed before providing information regarding the two suspects.

Officers were able to make contact with both men at Elder's residence in Auburn and found narcotics at the location, resulting in the drug trafficking charges.
