Rare Martini offers free Star Trek tickets

Marina Von Bismark and Kody Bliss of The Rare Martini stopped by Talk of Alabama today to talk about a special event for all the Trekkies out there.  

Tonight (Tuesday, May 14, 2013) at 9PM, the first 30 people to show up will get free advance movie tickets to see the new Star Trek installment.  It's also Trivia Tuesday.  If you think you know everything about Star Trek, TV Shows, Movies, Pop Culture, History and more, tonight is your chance to win big.

1st place: $30 Bar Tab
2nd place: $15 Bar Tab
3rd place: $10 Bar Tab.

There is no cover charge.  You must be 18 to party and 21 to drink.

    A Shelby County man is in custody after police say he stole from the same funeral home twice. 32-year-old Jerry William Duke has been charged with two counts of third degree burglary. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the funeral home in both instances.The two break ins occurred at the Midway Memory Gardens funeral home off of Alabama Highway 21 in Talladega County.
