The Vestavia Hills High School boys soccer team claimed the 6A state championship Saturday after beating Oak Mountain 1-0 in a shootout.

The Briarwood Christian boys team took home the 5A state title with a 3-0 victory over St. Paul's.

The girls from Mountain Brook also won a state championship after they shutout Oak Mountain 2-0 in the 6A title matchup.
