27-year-old Georgia man missing after camping at Talladega for race weekend

A search is underway for a missing 27-year-old Georgia man who was last seen camping at Talladega Superspeedway over the weekend.

Nicholas Bower, of Villa Rica, Ga., and an employee of FASTENAL in Atlanta, has yet to be found after camping with friends in the South Park area of Talladega's campgrounds.

Bower, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 185 pounds, was last contacted at approximately 11 p.m. Saturday as he sat in a lawn chair near the camping site. He was wearing a black, employee hooded-sweatshirt with "FASTENAL" displayed on the front. He also was wearing a black FASTENAL hat with mesh backing. Bower owned a gray North Face jacket that he may or may not have been wearing.
