Your Health: 4-30-13 HIV Testing

Posted: Updated:

A Federal health panel has issued new recommendations for HIV screenings.

They say most teens and adults should get tested.

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force says everyone ages 15 to 65 should get a one time screening for the virus that causes aids.

And it recommends women get tested during each pregnancy.

It also recommends people in risk groups for HIV get screened once a year at the very least.
