Students interested in computer-based technologies for the creation, performance and study of music are encouraged to apply for the 2013 Woodlawn Music Tech Summer Camp. The camp is designed to build awareness of college and career opportunities in the field of music production and recording engineering.

The camp is put on by Audiostate 55 Recording Studios which is now affiliated with Berklee City Music.  Audio 55 president, Dr. Henry Panion, III, said, "We are so excited to have been chosen to become a member of the Berklee City Music Network and will now be able to offer an even greater experience for our students at this year's summer camp." Berklee City Music is a nonprofit program providing music education to fourth through twelfth graders in underserved communities.

Weekly sessions at Woodlawn Music Tech Summer Camp begin June 17 and run through July 26. Each five-day session will be from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Application deadline is May 31.
