Two teens are now in DHR custody after a pipe bomb was discovered in their room at an area Travelodge motel.

Attalla police say the two teens and family were staying in a room.  Police say, the boy most likely constructed the pipe bomb.  Two rifles were also found inside the room.

The 14 and 16 year olds are now in DHR custody.  Authorities are looking for the parents.

The motel was evacuated around 4 p.m.  Police say, people will be able to go back into their rooms soon.
