Update:

The family that lived in the condo at Vulcan Park Condominiums that was destroyed by fire Tuesday afternoon was not at home at the time of the blaze, in fact, Darryl Stephens and his wife were out to lunch celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary.

"My son was in school and my wife and I were out of it." Stephens said. "We've got our life and that's the most important thing. We'll be alright."

The Stephens have been provided lodging at an area motel by the Red Cross tonight while they look for a new place to stay.
