Elderly couple dies in early morning house fire

FAYETTE - AL -

An elderly couple is dead following a fire at their home early Saturday morning.

Fayette Firefighters responded to 38 County Road 32 just after 4:00 a.m. Two people, a male and a female in their 70s, died in the fire.

The fire is under investigation by the Alabama Fire Marshal, along with the assistance of Fayette Fire Department. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
