Bern Nadette Stanis, of Good Times fame, will be a Professor in Residence at Miles College. College President Dr. George T. French will make the official announcement today.
According to a news release, Stanis will work with Miles Performing Arts students through the Division of Humanities. The actress is well known as Thelma on Good Times and still travels the country performing in stage plays. She is also a published author.
Dr. French will also update Miles College Civil Rights Commemoration Activities, the new Miles Golf Team, Construction Projects, Founder's Day and other information as well.
