Rep. Rogers to talk proposed occupational tax

Representative John Rogers says he will host a meeting of elected officials, business leaders and community members. They will discuss and get comment on proposed legislation he is sponsoring.

He says his bills are "designed to increase the financial stability of Jefferson County." He adds, "the two bill package includes an occupational tax and the creation of a health care authority."

The meeting is on Friday, March 22 at 10am in the BJCC Medical Forum.
