Homewood Police officers were involved in a car pursuit Tuesday evening which ended with the suspect crashing a vehicle over a large embankment near Alford Avenue and Interstate 65 North.
It is unknown at this time what prompted the pursuit which began around 6:30 p.m. Following the accident, at least one person was transported to the hospital with injuries. That person has since been released from the hospital and taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.
A Charter Cable truck was also damaged during the pursuit.
