Carnie Wilson is facing a new challenge in life -- but she's determined to keep her spirits up. The 44-year-old singer announced on Twitter March 13 that she has been diagnosed with Bell's Palsy.
"Just wanted you all to know that I have Bell's palsy on left side of face right now," she wrote. "Scary, unfortunate, but it goes away. A challenge! Love you."
Bell's Palsy is a form of facial paralysis that can result in facial drooping due to a nerve malfunction. But Wilson is confident that she will recover soon.
Wilson also revealed one of the ways she's coping with the condition: "PS Who believes in Acupuncture? I'm treating my Bell's Palsy with it," she shared on March 14. "It's working."
