Alabama High Schools Could Get Technology Upgrade

MONTGOMERY - AL -

High Schools in Alabama could get a high tech upgrade.

The State Legislature is close to approving a plan to borrow $50 Million to replace the outdated equipment in high school technology programs.

Lawmakers hope it will help curb the state's dropout rate.

The technology director for the State Board of Education says schools have not received an upgrade since 2005.
