BIRMINGHAM - AL -
Birmingham police say a young man is in serious condition at UAB after being shot in the middle of Railroad Park around 7 Sunday night.
Police were patrolling the area but say no one was at the exact location when the shooting took place.
The identity and age of the shooting victim have not been released.
Investigators are still on the scene. They have interviewed witnesses. However, no suspects are in custody.
Roads alongside the park were shutdown after the call. But they have now reopened.
This is the first shooting at the Birmingham park.
