Two injured in car accident on Highway 11 in Trussville

Lifesaver helicopter landed in the CVS parking lot following a serious accident Thursday night. (abc3340.com)

A Chevrolet Minivan was traveling at a high rate of speed before losing control on Highway 11 Thursday night. (abc3340.com)

TRUSSVILLE - AL -

Trussville police and fire are working a car accident on Highway 11 in Trussville Thursday night.

A witness says a car left the road, rolled several times, before landing in a wooded area.

The accident involving a Chevrolet Minivan temporarily shut down Highway 11 near Main Street. Lifesaver airlifted a woman to UAB Hospital with serious injuries and another victim was transported by ambulance. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
