The Tower of Prayer Church in Leeds will host a free giveaway on Saturday for 500 people.
The church will be giving away food, clothing, haircuts and other items at a community event it calls "I Cared Enough Leeds."
The event will take place at the Moton Community Center on Moton Street beginning at 10 a.m. Registration begins at 9 a.m. And there will be free lunch for those who attend starting at noon.
"In a world where the economy is dwindling, and all resources for life are decreasing, we, The Tower of Prayer Church, are gearing up to deliver hope to over 500 people by providing free food, clothes, groceries, haircuts for the family, academic coaching, insurance information, welfare assistance, medical screenings and most importantly, the Bread of Life," Pastor Webster said.
