Tuskegee University Choir To Concert In Birmingham

Tuskegee University's Golden Voices Concert Choir will host a one-of-a kind concert as a free celebration to the entire Birmingham community.

The concert is in recognition of Birmingham's 50 years of progress in civil rights.

It will be held on Sunday, March 24 at Cantebury United Methodist Church on Overbrook Road in Mountain Brook. The concert begins at 4 p.m.

The March 24th celebration will also include brief readings by Ms. Myla Choy, Sr. Vice President of the Birmingham Business Alliance; and the Reverend Thomas Wilder, Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church.

The Tuskegee Choir has performed at the grand opening of Radio City Music Hall, at Carnegie Hall and several other locations.
