Car hanging off Highway 280 bridge

BIRMINGHAM - AL -

Birmingham police are working an accident on the Highway 280 bridge over Interstate 459 near the Summit.

The front of a Toyota SUV is partially hanging over the bridge. Police are directing traffic in the area.

Rescue workers from the Rocky Ridge Fire Department are also on the scene.

No injuries have been reported in the accident.
