Man with knife robs BBVA Compass in Hoover

Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection to the robbery of BBVA Compass in Hoover on Wednesday.

The robbery happened around 12:52 p.m. today at the bank located at 105 Doug Baker Boulevard. According to a Federal Bureau of Investigation release, a black male, armed with a long knife and wearing all gray, including a hoodie and bandana around his face, passed a note to a teller at the bank demanding money. The teller handed the man an unknown amount of money before the suspect fled on foot.
