490 pounds of marijuana seized during traffic stop in Heflin

A routine traffic stop in Heflin turned into a major drug bust Monday morning. Police officers seized 490 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on I-20 East near Mile Marker 199. One person has been arrested. The suspect's identity has not yet been released. The unidentified suspect is behind bars on a $1 million dollar bond.
