Ensley ceiling collapse & rescue

ENSLEY - AL -

Birmingham Fire Department's responders are helping a residents after a ceiling collapse. It happened around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday in an apartment complex at 2409 29th Street in Ensley. We're told someone was inside the apartment when the ceiling collapsed. She was pulled out, but only suffered minor injuries.

Fire department representatives say it was sheet rock that fell. We'll have more on the News at 11:00.
