Jvonte Hines, 17, of Forestdale, was shot and killed early Sunday morning at the hotel, the Homewood Police Department confirms. Rescue workers were called to the location around 3:30 a.m. and arrived to find Hines suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene a short time later.
