Person shot at 7514 Georgia Road has died

BIRMINGHAM - AL -

UPDATE: Person shot in car on Georgia Road was pronounced dead at hospital. Police have no suspects at this time.

Birmingham police are investigating a shooting at 7514 Georgia Road near Joppa Avenue.

Around 3 p.m. police received a call of several shots fired in the area of Georgia Road and Joppa Avenue. Upon arriving at the location, Police found one person suffering from a gunshot wound.

No suspects are in police custody.

We have a crew headed to the scene and will bring you the latest when it becomes available.
