One young cancer patient had a wish granted today, and at the same time, her wish touched other patients at Children's of Alabama.

Four-year-old Emma Mitchell was diagnosed with a brain tumor in June of 2012.  She received a stem cell transplant in December. This morning, Princesses Jasmine and Cinderella, along with Peter Pan visited Emma and other oncology patients at the hospital.

Martino Cartier is the founder and President of Friends Are By Your Side, a network of salon owners with a mission in helping women and children, and he got word of Emma's fight.

"Friends Are By Your Side is a national non-profit organization that helps give women their Wings back and grant children their Wishes," he says. "Our organization makes sure that any women undergoing chemotherapy can go to her hairdresser and get a custom styled wig to give her the wings she thought she lost.  For children, that's easy!  We grant wishes for seriously ill children to help them get through the toughest battle of their young lives."

Emma's wish was to meet Jasmine and Cinderella, her two favorite princesses, as well as Peter, the boy who never grew up.
