Commercial fire on 47th Street North in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM - AL -

Birmingham fire and police are responding to a commercial fire 220 47th Street North in Birmingham.

The building on fire used to be the Channel letter company. It has been vacant for 18 months.

The roof of the building has collapsed. No injuries or fatalities have been reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.
