Jefferson County Sheriff's office recover 15 stolen utility trailers

JEFFERSON COUNTY - AL -

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has recovered 15 utility trailers at a business in the 4000 block of the Bessemer Super Highway in Bessemer.

The investigation revealed that suspects had been stealing trailers in and around the Bessemer cut-off area and possibly in Tuscaloosa County. Of the 15 utility trailers recovered 7 have been identified and returned to their owners.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is requesting any citizen in or around the Bessemer cut-off area that may have had a utility trailer stolen between December 1, 2012 and January 24, 2013 to call the Criminal Division at 205-481-4213.
