Police say alcohol may have been involved in a late night
crash that injured four teenagers.
Brookwood Police responded to a one-car accident on Camp
Cherry Austin Road at approximately 11:30 p.m. Saturday night. The vehicle ran
off the road and struck a tree. The Tuscaloosa County Homicide Unit was
contacted by Brookwood Police to investigate the crash since alcohol may have
been a factor.
The 19-year-old male driver suffered a concussion and broken
bones, a 17-year-old male and an 18-year-old female were treated and released
for minor injuries, and the fourth passenger, a 19-year-old male, is currently
in critical condition.
