Two people injured in single-car accident in Hoover

Two people were injured in a single-vehicle accident in Hoover on Saturday night.

Hoover Fire and Rescue were called to Riverchase Parkway East around 9:30 p.m. after a Mitsubishi Eclipse left the roadway, hitting a tree on the vehicle's passenger side.

The driver and a passenger were both transported to UAB Hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
