2 Flu Deaths Reported In Oklahoma Last Week

    The Etowah County Sheriff's Office says an inmate kitchen worker escaped the Etowah County Detention Center Friday morning. 

  The Oklahoma Department of Health reports two more deaths from the flu in Oklahoma.

  The latest deaths were in Nowata and Washington counties.

  There have been 25 deaths and 862 hospitalization since the start of the flu season in September.

  Tulsa County has had six deaths due to the flu while Oklahoma and Comanche counties have each had three.  Washington and Pittsburg counties each reported two deaths.  Single deaths are reported in Blaine, Cleveland, Creek, Mayes, McIntosh, Nowata, Rogers and Stephens counties.
