If you plan on having a salad any time soon, check your fridge before making it.  A California company is recalling some baby spinach because it could be contaminated with E-coli. The spinach was sold in several states under five different labels:  Central Market Organics, Full Circle Organic, Simple Truth Organic, Marketside Organic and Taylor Farms Organic.

Taylor Farms Organic is sold in Alabama and is included in the recall.  The 16 oz. trays of baby spinach included in the recall have a "best by" date of 2/24/2013.  The UPC number is 0-30223-04780-3.

The company, Taylor Farms Retail, says no illnesses have been reported.  However, if you have consumed the product and experience any symptoms, seek medical attention immediately.  The company has posted a hotline number on its website.  That number is (855) 293-9811.
