A judge has revoked the bond of University of Alabama fan Harvey Updyke.
Updyke is accused of poisoning Toomer's Oaks, the landmark trees of Auburn University.
Updyke was hand-cuffed by officers and taken to jail after the ruling Wednesday in Opelika.
Judge Jacob A. Walker III granted a request from prosecutors' to revoke Updyke's bond after watching a video of his arrest after a fight with employees at a home improvement store in Louisiana in September.
Updyke is set for trial April 8.
The university says the trees are all but dead and will be removed.
