Man charged with attempted murder after stabbing

Darryll Cole has been arrested by Bessemer police detectives charged with attempted murder for his involvement in what is believed to have started as a robbery and ended with a man transported to the hospital with stab wounds. 

At approximately 4:18 AM on February 9, officers with the Bessemer Police Department responded to the 2400 block of Clarendon Avenue in Bessemer on an assault of a person. Officers found the victim, a 25 year old male, bleeding from the head and back suffering from stab wounds. The victim was treated by the Fire Department and transported to the hospital.

The victim remains in a local hospital recovering from his wounds.
