FAYETTE - AL -
A man scheduled to go on trial this week for two counts of capital murder in Fayette has changed his plea.
41-year old Kenneth Ray Fluker pleaded guilty to 'Murder during the commission of a rape' and Murder during the commission of a robbery.'
Investigators say Fluker killed 55-year old Patricia Adair in August 2010 as she walked home from a late night shift at the Fayette Chevron.
The plea allows Fluker to avoid the death penalty.
Fluker was a standout running back at Fayette High School before he dropped out of school in 1991.
