Trolley fire under investigation by Birmingham Fire Dept

A trolley fire in downtown Birmingham sent a cloud of black smoke over the downtown area.

Firefighters were called to a trolley fire around 12 noon Monday. The fire happened on 8th Avenue North near Richard Arrington Blvd.

There were people on board the trolley when it caught fire. No injuries were reported.
