Part of Greensprings Hwy will under go resurfacing starting Monday

BIRMINGHAM - AL -

Monday morning, resurfacing will begin on part of Greensprings Highway. Work will be done on a stretch through Valley Avenue.

The Alabama Department of Transportation will also add new traffic signals, lane striping and reflective markings.

All lanes will be open by 3:30 in the afternoon. However, drivers are encouraged to take an alternative route for the next two to three weeks.
