Alabama
Highway 25 in Wilton, Ala.will be partially closed Thursday night for an
extended period of time while workers repair a damaged water main.
Shelby County Sheriff's deputies will be directing traffic between the
intersections of Shelby County Highway 73 and Shelby County Highway 8,
where they intersect Alabama Highway 25.
The roadway will be
completely closed at times, and when possible, it will be reduced to one lane with
deputies directing traffic.
The repairs to the water main will
take approximately five or six hours. The roadway should be open to
normal traffic by Friday morning as local residents travel to work.
All motorists in the area are encouraged to use caution and drive slowly in the area. Be aware of deputies directing traffic and follow their directions.
