Travis Ford's Oklahoma State Cowboys rally to beat Iowa State in Stillwater Wednesday night, 78-76. Marcus Smart led the way for OSU with 21 points on 9-15 shooting. He was 1-3 from three point range. That one three-pointer was a 3/4 court shot that banked in at the halftime buzzer.
The Cowboys never led in the first half, but that Smart buzzer beater gave the Pokes momentum heading into the second half.
Le'Bryan Nash had a good game offensively with 18 points.
Iowa State's Chris Babb was 7-10 from the field and led the Cyclones with 19 points.
The game was tied at 76 with seconds left on the clock when Smart drove the lane and banked in the game winner.
Oklahoma State improves to 14-5, 4-3 in Big 12 play. The Cowboys remain unbeaten in conference play at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Next they will try to get their first league road win of the year when they travel to face Kansas Saturday at 3:00pm.
