Auburn University officials say a golden eagle, once used as a mascot on football game days, has better vision now after a recent surgery to remove a cataract from its right eye. 33 year old Tiger, also know as War Eagle VI, is recovering well after having the procedure performed at the Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine in December 2012. One of the first of Auburn's eagles to fly as its football stadium, Tiger had been on campus since 1986. Tiger made her final stadium flight in 2006 and has since been used in educational programs.
