Bibb County man arrested for robbery of Bessemer Waffle House

Nicholas Lee Byram, 21, of Bibb County, has been charged with First-Degree Robbery after he allegedly stole a cash register from a Bessemer Waffle House on Monday.

A Bibb County man has been arrested in connection to Monday's early morning robbery of a Waffle House in Bessemer.

Nicholas Lee Byram, 21, is charged with First Degree Robbery after he allegedly stole a cash register from a Waffle House located at 3998 Methodist Circle. Byram was armed with an AK-47 assault rifle during the incident, but no one was injured during the robbery.

Byram was taken into custody on Wednesday following an investigation, and he has since been transferred to Jefferson County Jail.
