Shakira Welcomes Baby Boy

Pop singer Shakira and soccer star Gerard Pique are the proud parents of a baby boy.

Milan Pique Mebarak was born late Tuesday in Barcelona, Spain, weighing in at approximately six pounds, six ounces.

The 35-year-old Colombian singer first revealed her pregnancy in September, canceling a scheduled weekend concert appearance at a music festival in Las Vegas.

This is the couple's first child.
