City leaders in Pelham and Alabaster look to recruit new business. But they are starting with building relationships with current ones.
Pelham held its first small business alliance meeting Tuesday morning. Dozens of business owners attended. They asked for an interactive online directory and better communication with city leaders. Some of them pushed to end a city ordinance that bans businesses from posting flags or other moving signs near the street.
Alabaster will hold its small business meeting Friday. It will be held at 9 a.m. at the city annex building.
