Person found dead at Hoover townhome identified as 23-year-old man

Nicholas Taylor Schneider, 23, of Hoover, was found dead Monday morning inside an Ashford Townhome. Nicholas Taylor Schneider, 23, of Hoover, was found dead Monday morning inside an Ashford Townhome.

The person found dead at a Hoover townhome has been identified as a 23-year-old man, Capt. Jim Coker reports.

Nicholas Taylor Schneider, a graduate of Hoover High School, was found dead yesterday morning inside a Ashford Townhome. Hoover Police took an adult male into custody at the scene, but he was released Tuesday afternoon following questioning.

The Jefferson County District Attorney's Office will require additional time to fully investigate the circumstances of this case prior to making any decision to issue warrants, Coker reports in a media release.

It is still unknown at this time how Schneider died.
