Blood supply still at emergency levels

The staff at LifeSouth Community Blood Centers hopes donors will give blood, as this area's blood supply is still at emergency levels.

In a news release, District Community Development Coordinator Brian Garrett provided the following information about the actual blood supply available at the 22 Central Alabama hospitals served by LifeSouth.

Governor Robert Bentley and State School Superintendent Tommy Bice announced the results of a study in Montgomery.
