I-65 in Cullman Co. re-opens Friday

Anyone traveling I-65 north toward Cullman on Thursday night ended up going nowhere fast.

Ice on the interstate forced state troopers to close the highway at exit 308.

On Friday, drivers didn't have an easy go of it. The interstate reopened before 10:00AM, but it was still backed up for several hours just north of Cullman.

All along I-65 there were reminders of the slick conditions from Thursday night.

Cars, stuck in the median and dented highway dividers.

Right now, the Alabama Department of Public Safety can't even give us a number as to how many wrecks happened in Cullman County.
